As a Meals on Wheels deliverer and coordinator of Volunteer Route 15, I was invited to take the mayor of Taylorsville, Larry Johnson, along for the ride. This gave him a chance to enjoy seeing how easy it is to connect with the great seniors of our communities. A few snapshots of these fragile folks, sure made their day. All it takes is a kind word, a pat on the back and knowing how important they are to all of us for their example and friendship. Yes, that how it's done.
