Stuck in the Muck

Oh, what a mess we are in. Visibility is poor and there's more.
This week’s air felt like wading in dirty dishwater. I wouldn’t advise it for a friend, son or daughter. In the mountains the air is pristine and hotter. This place isn't even suited for a sea otter.
The valleys of the Wasatch are swimming in muck. The dirty air is getting worse and now seems stuck. It's caused by fires, congestion, cars and truck. A brisk wind would blow it away and bring good luck.
Driving east to the mountains one discovers a whole new world of clear blue skies and mild weather. Looking out over the valleys, a gray cloud has dropped onto the cities down below. Soon the winds and storms will come, then we will enjoy clear skies again. I think I'll take a ride up yonder hills tomorrow.
