Surgery and Six Weeks of Sore

Allan, my hubby had a heart attack. Yup, yesterday. It was very minor and there is little damage. He now needs and is waiting for quadruple heart bypass surgery. This healthy man is now confined to the ICU until the surgeon and his body is ready for it.

Up until now he has been medication free. Not anymore. He's been able to do just about anything he wants. Not anymore. Eat everything he feels like. Not anymore. How did this happen? His parents lived into their nineties. He should too, or so he thought. It may happen, but a lifestyle change has to take place.

Veggies and whole grains will become his best friend. May the time pass quickly and the best bypass surgery win!!
