This week let's remember those determined saints that settled the West. They left their homes of Europe & Eastern USA to cross the plains and find a new life in the Mountain West. Religious freedom was the reason. They sacrificed their all, their lives, loved ones, comforts of home and more.
They were promised the area would 'blossom as a rose' if they settled here, and it did. No one wanted to live in this arid desert land, but protection and freedom from discrimination was the driving force. Parades, parties, plays and pop will be participated in & partaken of while we honor our posterity. We love and thank you for enduring to the bitter & blessed end.
