A cluster of clouds hung like sheer drapes on a rod in the eastern sky this morning. The lower portion of many, were colored salmon from the yet to rise sun’s rays.
Gold stood out from the double yellow street line, dried road side weeds, day lilies and caution signs along the way to work, reminding me of orange marmalade jelly. Not one of your basic jams but nice, when everything orange jumps out at you encouraging a mellow mid-summer mood.

1- 6 oz can orange juice,
1 cup milk,
1 cup water,
¼ cup sugar,
10 or so ice cubes. Blend. Mmm.
